On 20 April 2021, the IEEM team, in close cooperation with the VNU-HUS, conducted a hybrid workshop on the topic of "Introduction to the Pilot Plant of Small Water Works Designed for the Rural Areas of the Mekong Delta Region" under the framework of the ViWaT-Oeration project. While the participants as well as a team from VNU-HUS were able to participate on site in Vietnam, the German participants were added digitally due to the continuing travel restrictions in the course of the Corona measures.

During the workshop, the project ViWaT-Operations was presented and the participants visited the pilot plant at site 1 (Tuoi Tho kindergarten), which was demonstrated in the ongoing test operation. Here, the focus was particularly on the possibility of water treatment through membrane technology in the form of the AquaCube (Martin System).

The information provided in the workshop and the tour of the pilot site received a lot of positive feedback from the participants.
